How is your product or service having a positive social and/or environmental impact?
We create healthy and resilient buildings to support the wellbeing of people and our planet. We are committed to inspiring change and excellence in the building industry. We are one of just 16 firms nationwide meeting the American Institute of Architects’ 2030 Commitment — a voluntary initiative to transition the building industry to a carbon-free environment by 2030. Many of our projects produce more clean energy than they consume, achieve carbon neutrality, eliminate chemicals of concern, and provide healthy, comfortable interior spaces.
What is your company’s vision for the future?
We envision a future where all building rooftops are garden landscapes and solar energy generators; all buildings produce more renewable energy than they consume, and all buildings are free of chemicals of concern. We envision a future where the built environment is regenerative and works with the natural world to clean our air, clean our water, and sequester carbon from our atmosphere. People have access to clean air, clean water, and a thriving planet. And healthy buildings are accessible and affordable to all.
