Experience A Gaza Refugee Camp in 3D

The Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip is home to more than 110,000 refugees, according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). Among them are children, so many that the camp’s 20 schools work double shifts to accommodate them all. Some children are third-generation refugees, whose grandparents settled in the region in the late 1940s. While the UNRWA cites that the area has been plagued with air strikes, unemployment, and severe water contamination, for the children, life goes on as they play in the narrow alleys and rooftops of the only home they’ve ever known.
