At EcoVadis, our employees are our greatest strength. We are an international organization offering a unique, people-centric experience that enables our employees to maximize their potential to positively impact society, the planet and the communities in which they live and work.
We are a purpose-driven company and
Our culture is based on strong company values which shape how we collaborate and work towards achieving our targets. We are proud to share that our employees are highly committed to bringing this culture to live and that 89% of our employees perceive that the corporate culture is well aligned with the Core Values.
This strong culture is the foundation to enabling our employees to deliver positive impact.
The below examples show just how impactful our people are:
Carbon Emissions Reductions
EcoVadis has committed to reducing its carbon emissions in line with the Paris Agreement, with a particular focus on decreasing air travel emissions. Achieving a 38% reduction in travel emissions per employee has been a significant change management effort, made possible by the dedication and commitment of our people.
Our teams have effectively adapted to virtual collaboration, successfully closing deals with fewer in-person client visits, and embracing train travel. We have cultivated a network of train travel ambassadors who are accelerating the transition to rail within our company. Popular routes, such as those between our offices in Paris and Barcelona, or Berlin and Warsaw, are now traveled by train by default. Notably, some teams have even traveled from New York to Toronto by train, demonstrating our team's commitment to delivering positive impact.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At EcoVadis we foster a work environment with diversity, equity and inclusion at its core. Our goal is to offer a workplace where employees of all backgrounds feel welcome, supported and empowered.
Achieving these goals depends entirely on our team's commitment to embracing and living our values. To support this, we have established five employee-led resource groups. These groups are voluntary, employee-organized communities that focus on shared characteristics or life experiences. They are designed to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, providing support, enhancing career development, and contributing to personal development in the work environment. Organized by employees for employees, these groups demonstrate our workforce's dedication to driving a meaningful transition towards a more inclusive company culture.
To measure our progress in achieving our commitments we conduct a DEI survey every second year. Our aim is to keep an overall score of “employees’ perception of EcoVadis fostering an inclusive environment” of at least 8 out of 10. In 2023, our employee inclusion perception score was 8.7 out of 10.
Employee Volunteering
Change Makers is an employee ambassador network that connects employees with NGOs to execute impactful volunteering initiatives. In 2023, our employees completed over 350 volunteering days, supporting 60 NGOs globally. The main causes they contributed to included reducing inequalities, climate action, and improving health and well-being.
These examples are a testament to the impactful efforts of our employees, who have shown remarkable dedication to sustainability and innovation.
